What Happens When You Are in a Woody Area

There are many places in the world, whether Asia or South America, that have plenty of woody areas. By woody areas, we mean areas that have trees all around your location, so that if any one of them were to fall, it would most likely affect your life (if a tree fall on the street, you would have to change your driving route). Many people decide not to think much about it until something happens to them, just like when people wait until they have cancer to worry about their health. They choose not to avoid all the daily actions that will most likely cause them to get cancer, like smoking. When you are in an area that has the potential for trees and forestry to cause damage to your life, you may want to have somebody on the line that is able to help you. It is easy to think that you are smart by trying to think positively; however, positive thinking alone will not prevent you from having a tree fall on your property. You need to be proactive.

Now, consider what happens in the stormy area of Atlanta, GA. Hurricanes come and go, with hail, rain, and all the damage that is able to destroy your home, your car, and also other nearby structures that do not really belong to you. What happens when the tree on your neighbor’s lawn is broken by the storm and starts flying and collides with your home? What will you do then? Will you sit there and watch your house collapse under the weight of a tree. After all, you are not going to sleep with a tree on your home. Therefore, you need to make sure you obviously home insurance, car insurance, and tree insurance in a place that has lots of wood. Our businesses stay ready to service customers that have tree problems, because we understand that life may be distracting, especially if you are reactive. Therefore if you need tree service in atlanta, you need to contact the best professionals.

Therefore, put us in your corner to satisfy what is necessary. Having a contingency plan when things get tough is what any reasonable person would and should do. It is no different from deciding to think of what happens if you were to break a leg, get in a car accident, or lose your job. Do you have a business that would allow you to grow even if your job were to be lost? If you were to lose your job, do you have unemployment insurance? Do you have a team that will show you how to navigate through the waters of unemployment and guarantee you another job? Honestly, it is like St. Augustine says, “Pray as though everything depends on God. Work as though everything depends on you.”

Prevention trumps reaction every time, because prevention is proactive while reaction is, of course, reactive.

When a Tree Falls, Are you Proactive or Reactive?

When it comes to the times of seasons, many people are not sure what they should do and will do. This is why it becomes necessary to have a background knowledge on things that should be done and will be done as problems arise. When you notice that there are problems in the area, and see that things are about to become ominous, you need to have a plan to settle the situation. You are not able to wait until the electricity runs out of your home to be sure that you need to have a backup generator. Nor should you wait until you are diagnosed with cancer should you decide to get health insurance. For you to be an active participant and player in the field of life, you must take steps in order to be a proactive person in general.

Think of it like this. Let us say that you live in Alpharetta, GA, and you decide that you are surrounded by all these trees. You see trees on the streets, in the parks, on the playgrounds, and most importantly, near your property. It is your judgement to determine if it is possible to risk having a tree fall on your home or just pay for insurance if it is the case that it may happen. It is your choice to decide to pay the full cost of the tree falling on your home, or just have insurance and hire a tree service in alpharetta to get the job done for you. You could choose to wing your car on the streets, or you could choose to get car insurance for your vehicle.  One chance is going off a risk, and the other chance is going off a mature, wise decision. When you are surrounded by trees that may be older than you and also may end up being blown and torn away by storms, we recommend that you spend less time trying to save every dollar and more time investing in yourself and protecting your possessions. This is especially the case if your home is an asset by allowing you to receive rental income. If it is your personal home, it is not an asset.

Regardless, as long as you decide to think proactively and not think reactively, you will be hard-pressed to find someone who will not be willing to lay down all the possible causes and problems and will easily be able to identify a solution to them all. In the end, there are usually one of two options: people that are proactive and people that are reactive. Even if you do not know what is going on, you are still reactive, because as the situations change, you must change. We are not able to be proactive in every area of our lives, so it is healthy to be reactive at times. The problem becomes when your whole life is reactive. You react to the stock market going up or down, to the pundits on the radio station, to your family telling you to do this and that. What you really need to do is make sure that you take control of your life (when you wake up, sleep, and do all the other nonsense that does not matter. It is up to you to take charge of yourself and find out how to handle any situation that presents itself.

Where I Found that Having Car Insurance for Trees is Necessary

I have been to Baltimore, and there are many trees there. They are in the streets, on the patios, in the parks, around buildings, and in many places that you may not even think of, such as the schools. Having been to Marietta, GA, and seeing that Marietta has many, many trees, I believed I was invincible to the whims of life. I have heard about getting car insurance, home insurance, and all these other types of insurance. I did not think much of it, instead of my home insurance, because I was not able to afford to lose a house that costs $300,000 to something out of my control.

Now, growing up in that area, I learned some pretty interesting things. Namely, I learned that car insurance is something that is pretty much a law if you wish to drive, because every driver wants to know that they will be able to get paid if someone hurts them or damages their vehicle. In Marietta, I learned that you need to have car insurance (like every other city), and on top of that, you were also able to have “tree insurance for your car”. Now, I thought that was one of the dumbest things a person could do. Why would I receive tree insurance for my car? What are the chances that a tree will really fall on my car? It is like those one in a million types of things; should I purchase life insurance for my 6 year daughter when I am the only one in her life? I felt like I did not.

Now, here is the coincidence, while I was coming back from an appointment in Atlanta and took the bus back to Marietta, there was a tree over my house (I am glad I had home insurance), and on top of my car. When calling a tree service in marietta, I got a tree care company that came really fast. Ironically, they called and asked if I had tree insurance for the house and the car. I noted that I had home insurance for my house and car insurance for my car, and that I was not familiar with “tree insurance provided separately for it”. Upon giving me a bill of $4,000 for the house and $500 for the car, I immediately called my insurance companies for the house and got “your policy is for damages planned by storm, wind, hail, fire; however, it explicitly does not cover tree falls. We are able to send you a copy of your policy right now if you like.” That is all I needed to hear to have my ears ringing. The minute I called my car insurance, I had a lump in my throat. I phoned, got someone on the phone, and got the response “You are not covered for tree falls….” Immediately, I knew what tree insurance was for my house and my car.

When the tree serviceman looked at me, I realized that he was asking me, “so what insurance are we billing?”. I immediately responded, “do not worry about it. The bill will be paid by me.” I never forgot the lesson as I watched my bank account go down $4500 in all of 10 minutes. After the tree was removed, I lived in a broken house and had a broken car for a few months until I racked up enough money to pay a contractor and a mechanic to fix my home and my car. Lessons learned. Now, in Baltimore, you best believe I have tree insurance for my home and my car.
